Softdrive Fleets
Softdrive’s Computer Fleets is a dynamic pool of virtual computers designed to automatically return to its default state after a user signs out, shuts down the cloud PC, or if the PC remains idle for a preconfigured time. This non-persistent environment ensures that for every user session the cloud PC begins from its original state while remaining a highly secure and high-performing system. The cloud PC will also be free from any residual data or configuration changes. This model is ideal for organizations with rotating staff or continuous shift coverage and allows multiple users to share computing resources without compromising performance. Softdrive’s non-persistent machines greatly reduce maintenance overhead, enhance reliability, and ensure a consistent user experience across the entire virtual fleet.
Softdrive Fleets Key Features:
Computer fleets can be created and configured directly from the Softnet dashboard.
Idle timers can be set to automatically disconnect or shut down sessions after a defined period of inactivity.
Computer fleets can also be dynamically adjusted or modified as needed.
Computer fleets can be configured to join a domain automatically when they are started.
